Description
Latte Throwdown is a 1-4 player coffee dice board game using dynamic Dice Pool/Dice Rolling and placement, or simply, “a dice chucker with lots of dice and creative ways to optimize your dice rolls.
You are a Barista competing in a latte Art Throwdown competition. Complete and score the best latte pours before your competition does!
You score points by matching your dice to the combination of dice shown on the Latte Cards. The first Barista to reach 20 points on the chalk board leader tracker wins. Use your Barista powers strategically and beware of the other Baristas, who will try to creatively snatch the best designs ahead of you.
Hold the pitcher steady, keep an eye on the other Baristas and don’t spill your milk. ☕️

Quick, simple to learn/explain, fun, and well-packaged game all-around. Good option for casual gamers looking for a aesthetically-pleasant step-up from Yup! The Barrista cards are really a clever mechanic to keep things fresh, and the Solo mode is well-designed (hard, but quite doable). Obviously resting on luck and dice chucking, the scoring may appear swingy at times… Only criticism: the rulebook should be clearer about what you can do with the Barrista cards, e.g. re-rolls, no dice limitation, etc.

We have this game and I love it! My partner backed on kickstarter and I’m glad they did. Reminds me of Las Vegas w/a twist. I always want the red dice lol. Don’t listen to any youtube negative reviews (especially one person never showed playing it just gave a bad review) If you like dice chucking you’ll love this.

This is a very quick and fun game to learn and play. Great for all ages. I had the pleasure to play this solo as well as with 3 people. It was very enjoyable either way of play.

Easy to learn and play the the rules could have benefitted from a tech writer or someone experienced in rule writing for mass audiences. Ended up having to watch their Facebook live video to get clarity on everything. The theme is pretty but in no way influences the game, this game could have any art slapped on it and still play the same. I don’t consider that a drawback, though. I love the art a lot. I also love that this game is easy enough to play with kids and my elderly parents at the same time.
